The Come Up's creator and producer, Fendi, spent a few years and some change on the low. Some thought the DVD game was dead and that The Come Up DVD had been buried. But it turns out almost 20 DVDs later that The Come UP DVD was only recharging the battery to put street DVDs back on the map.
Dropping exclusive Come Up title after exclusive title, the artists started reaching out for exclusive projects. The likes of 2 Chainz, Jadakiss, Styles-P., Kendrick Lamar, Yo Gotti, Chief Keef all came knocking. Even French Montana, who has his own DVD series, recruited The Come Up to drop not one but TWO projects!
